For the past three years, No Girl Walks Alone has been powered by passion….built from countless volunteer hours, late-night planning, and a shared belief that movement and connection should be accessible to everyone. As our community has grown, so has the responsibility of keeping it alive – both in time and in cost.
Becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit was a natural next step. A way to create a sustainable foundation that protects what makes this community special while keeping our walks free for every woman who needs them. Your support helps us continue showing up, week after week, in the same spirit that started it all.

Every contribution helps cover the real costs that keep this movement going — things like insurance, software tools, signage, and coordination for our volunteer leaders who make weekly walks possible across Austin. Why does No Girl Walks Alone need donations if the walks are free?
Even though our walks don’t cost participants anything, they take time, coordination, and resources to host safely. Your support helps remove financial barriers so we can continue offering this experience to anyone who needs it.
